Conductivity Standard - Buffer Solution EC Meter

Our Advanced Meytec® Conductivity standard is a high-end buffer solution designed for the calibration of EC meter, TDS meter, Salinity meter and EC probe or EC electrode. It is a specially designed liquid with a fixed EC or Conductivity level. Because the exact EC level is known, we can now calibrate our EC meter or EC probe against this calibration fluid.

Our premium Conductivity Standard is compatible with all brands and manufacturers and is produced according to the highest manufacturing standards. The Conductivity standard is produced according to the NIST-norm and delivered with certificate. This means we can trace back each batch to when and where it was produced to maintain our quality at the highest level.

Conductivity standard for calibration

When you need to calibrate your EC Meter, TDS Meter or Salinity Meter you will need a calibration solution or conductivity standard that is designed for this application. Always check the manual of your tester to see the exact type of conductivity standard you need to use for a correct calibration of your device. Conductivity Standard 12880 µS/cm and Conductivity Standard 1413 µS/cm are the most commonly used types of conductivity standard.

Always follow the calibration procedure described in the manual of your tester. Never reuse calibration solution and never pour the solution back into the bottle after use. This will contaminate your conductivity standard and make it inaccurate.

Conductivity Standards for EC Meter, TDS Meter and Salinity Meter

EC Meter, TDS Meter and Salinity Meter are the most common testers that require conductivity standard. Always read the instructions of your meter to make sure you have the correct conductivity standard and you are following the correct calibration procedure.

Conductivity Standards for EC/TDS Probe and EC/TDS Electrode

EC/TDS Probe and EC/TDS Electrode also require regular calibration with conductivity standard. Carefully read the instruction manual of your EC/TDS electrode before calibrating. The process is very straight forward, as long as you follow all steps correctly. Don’t worry if you make any mistake, you can repeat the process until you get it right.

We currently offer premium Meytec® Conductivity Standard 12880 µS/cm and Conductivity Standard 1413 µS/cm, available in 250ml bottle. Compatible with any brand and manufacturer on the market.

Always store conductivity standard in a dry and dark place, out of reach of children. Make sure you tighten the bottle well before storage.
